Once Upon a Time in Hollywood fue nombrada mejor película por la Critics Choice Association en la 25ª entrega anual de los Critics ‘Choice Awards el domingo 12 de enero.

Entre los otros ganadores estaban Joaquin Phoenix como mejor actor por Joker, Renée Zellweger para mejor actriz por Judy, Brad Pitt para mejor actor secundario por Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Laura Dern para mejor actriz de reparto por Marriage Story y The Irishman para mejor conjunto .

Además, Bong Joon Ho y Sam Mendes empataron en los honores de mejor director por Parasite y 1917, respectivamente. Quentin Tarantino ganó por mejor guión original por Once Upon a Time en Hollywood, mientras que Greta Gerwig ganó por mejor guión adaptado para Little Women.

En el lado de la televisión, Fleabag fue nombrada mejor serie de comedia, Succession fue elegida como la mejor serie dramática y When They See Us obtuvo los mejores honores en series limitadas.

También durante el kudocast, Keegan-Michael Key le entregó a Eddie Murphy, coprotagonista de Dolemite Is My Name, el premio Critics ‘Choice Lifetime Achievement Award , mientras que Ted Danson le otorgó a su compañera estrella de Good Place, Kristen Bell, el #SeeHer Award.
